DG from near St.Austell told us:
I’m nearly 70 years old and took my driving test when I was 17 – so 53 years ago! In retirement I have a part-time taxi driving job which involves taking and collecting children to school and working for taking patients to hospital appointments. So, I felt I needed to check that I was still a safe driver.
However, what I didn’t realise was how enjoyable and instructive Cornwall Advanced Drivers course was going to be. With expert tuition from my Observer, its been a wake-up call! I’m far more aware of potential problems, my driving is much smoother and I’m a much safer driver and I now enjoy driving again.
I was surprised to learn that whilst all Cornwall Advanced Driver’s Observers are trained and qualified to give advanced driving instruction, they are unpaid and give their time freely but they are brilliant at what they do. Thank so much.
