IAM’s Masters test is the most challenging driving test available to civilians today. It comprises about 50 miles of near faultless driving on a mixture of unfamiliar roads under the scrutiny of a Police advanced driving Instructor. John, who is one of CAD’s longest serving advanced driving tutors, decided to train for his IAM Masters test and not only passed the stringent standards but passed with the top ‘Distinction’ grade.
The training for his Masters course was under CAD’s Chief Observer, Nick Fletcher who commented ‘ John was already as excellent driver but it was a real pleasure to see him develop his skills to a higher level and we were thrilled that John achieved his Distinction, because very few drivers can achieve that high standard’.
CAD delivers advanced driving courses for IAM RoadSmart throughout Cornwall and they are currently offering heavily discounted courses to encourage under 25 year old drivers because they are four times more likely to be involved in a serious accident than any other driver age group.
